Exterior Fountain with Seville Mexican Talavera Tile

The Spaniards introduced to new world the courtyard dwelling from a Moorish heritage. Houses are built around central gardens designed as miniature paradises, emphasizing  water as a precious element of nature. The sound of water emitted from a fountain infuses a relax and sublime environment, and is part of a Mexican style architecture.

This fountain is decorated with Mexican Talavera tiles from our Decorative I collection utilizing The Fly and Seville tiles. We can interpret this scene the as birds drinking water from the fountain, action which is represented by the Fly tile. The Seville tile is laid at the bottom giving it a finishing touch.
